Rev. Kenny Peters

Associate Pastor & Minister of Music

Our Associate Pastor & Minister of Music, Rev. Kenny Peters joined the Pinecrest Church family on March 8, 2009.   Kenny is a native of Crawford County, Georgia. He holds a B.A. in Voice and a B.M. in Music Education from Brewton-Parker College, as well as an M.A. in Biblical Counseling and an M.Div. from Luther Rice University and Seminary. He earned his Th.M. in Theology & Church History from the Liberty University School of Divinity.

Kenny is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) and The American Society of Church History.  He teaches classes for the Georgia Baptist Convention's Regional Bible Institutes in Cordele and Warner Robins.  Kenny serves on the Board of Trustees and as the president of the National Alumni Board of Brewton-Parker College. In his free time Kenny enjoys reading Star Wars books, working on family genealogy and writing devotions. Check out his blog here: The Musicologian

Kenny & his wife, Misty have been married since 1996 and they have two children - Alannah and Walker. Misty is from Metter, GA and holds an ASN/R.N. Degree from Darton State College, and a BSN from the Liberty University School of Nursing. She is a Circulation Nurse in the OR & PACU at Crisp Regional Hospital.

Rev. Jack Fitzgibbons


Associate Pastor of Families

Jack was born and raised in Cordele, Georgia before moving to Statesboro, Georgia in the fall of 2014 to attend Georgia Southern University where he met Kayla and felt the call to pastoral ministry. Kayla and Jack married in April of 2019 and moved back to Cordele in 2021 after living for a brief period in Reidsville, Georgia where Jack served as Director of Youth Ministry. Jack joined the Pinecrest Staff in 2021 and as our Associate Pastor of Families he oversees our children and student ministries.

Kayla is the Guidance Counselor for Kindergarten and First Grade at Crisp County Primary School. She recently graduated from Georgia Southern with her masters degree. 


Jack graduated in December of 2021 with his Masters of Divinity in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. They are both avid fans of Marvel movies, coffee, and Georgia Southern football.
