Pinecrest Students exists to equip both students and families for a lifetime of discipleship.
Pinecrest Students is for all students entering 6th grade to high school graduation. Join us at "the Duplex" on Wednesdays and Sundays at 6 PM, and bring your friends!
On Sunday nights at the Duplex, we dive into the Gospel of Luke and study it verse by verse. In an age of skepticism and criticism thrown at the Christian faith, we believe an in-depth study of this Gospel will move our teenagers into a deeper love for God and better equip them to defend and explain their faith.
When our students meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, we go through The Gospel Project, a curriculum produced by Lifeway. This study gives our teenagers an overview of the storyline of the Bible that helps them to see how every story in the Bible points us to our Savior: Jesus Christ. We would love for you to join us!
What to Expect
If you're thinking about visiting us for the first time, we can't wait to meet you! We meet at "the Duplex," located at 1028 E 18th Ave. It is within walking distance of our Fellowship Hall, making it convenient for parents to drop off and pick up before and after our evening services.
Students from the ages of starting 6th grade until they depart for college are welcome to attend our student ministry. If you're outside of that age range, look into our Kids Ministry or Young Adult Ministry to get plugged in with Pinecrest.
Looking to Volunteer?
Our Student Ministry wouldn't be possible without the help of the Church body. We're always needing weekly and yearly volunteers to help our Student Ministry thrive and receive the support it needs. If working with students is something you're passionate about, please fill out the contact form below, or call the church office to get in contact with our family pastor, Jack.
Whether you're looking to volunteer weekly, lead a small group, or make yourself or resources available for yearly events, we're excited to have you on board to support and lead our students to live as disciples of Christ.
